The CD features two pieces commissioned for the event, "Tomorrow, God Willing" written by Elizabeth Alexander with words by Garrison Keilor, and "Things That Never Die", written by Craig Carnahan with words by Charles Dickens. Selections also include an a cappella arrangement of "In the Still of the Night (I'll Remember)", and the lullaby "Everything Possible" with features a solo by the author of this article.
