BEAR (BEACH) BALLS 2 PARTY! Salute to Summer 2006
New Year's Day, Sunday, January 1st, 2006
- Who needs the noise and inebriated crowds of New Year's Eve...
when BC offers you our own special (hangover-free) tropical madness.
- Shorts, Speedos, Skin... We're turning up the heat,
so strip off those layers of thermal and flannel,
and show some flesh and fur!
- Come play with the Bears and Big Boys
on our own little slice of faux Muscle Bruin Beach....
with no worries of getting sunburned,
or itchy sand up your butt!
Today, we'll have a clothes check - down to shorts or swimsuits!
($1 a bag) to check those coats and heavy clothing.

Music City Bears of Nashville proudly present Bear Jam 2005 "Ye Olde Bear Faire" . The Music City Bears are a social/fraternal organization comprised of gay, bear identified people, their admirers and their friends. The club, founded in December of 1993 was born out of a desire to provide men an alternative to the stereotypical gay lifestyle. "The most common definition of a "Bear" is someone who is hairy, has facial hair, and a cuddly body, however, the word "Bear" means many things to different people, even within the bear movement. Many who do not have one or all of these characteristics define themselves as bears, making the term a very loose one. Suffice it to say, "Bear" is often defined as more of an attitude than anything else - a sense of comfort with our natural masculinity and bodies that is not slavish to the vogues of male attractiveness that is so common in gay circles and the culture at large."
