Todd Bennett resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia and is a freelance writer/editor specializing in lifestyle features and news. Todd’s interest in journalism began as an adolescent when he would phone in news tips to the local radio station’s news department. Todd’s father was a volunteer fireman, so armed with a scanner and an “inside source” on fires and accidents, Todd would often win the station’s “news tip” cash prize of $13.80, often times just covering the cost of the many long distance phone calls he made in an average month.  Todd's motto is “live for today and make it count.”

The club’s first Social and Introduction to the community was held December 9^th, 2000 at the Bike Stop in Center City Philadelphia. It was a small turnout of a hand-full of men with the same interest in mind—getting together with and getting to know other local bears in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
