Photo Galleries

Hey everyone, first, I'd like to thank everyone who has submitted their photos for view in the photo galleries! Very nice! After a while I have noticed that no one has submitted any photos for the Bear of the Month albums, or Personals albums, then it finally occurred to me that something must be wrong. And yes, there was.
Now that this issue has been fixed, I am announcing here that the photo galleries are ALL available so that you can upload to any of the albums (not just your own) including the Bear of the Month for November, Looking for Friendship, Looking for Relationship, Member's Artwork, and Roomates.
I hope you all take advantage of this feature, now especially since it has been resolved : ) WOOF! and hugs to all! Thanks!

Melissa Etheridge Rocks Minneapolis

Never have had the opportunity to be at a rock concert where I could actually reach out and touch the person I was there to see. But, that changed on Friday night. Front row, center stage to see Melissa Etheridge, for the Minneapolis concert of her “Lucky” tour. I’m very impressed with this little lady. She sings and says what she feels.
This may sound odd coming from a gay man, who likes bears and hairy men, but this gal rocked and I respect her ideology. Stop hiding, be proud of who we are as a community, vote to change what we don’t like, and have an opinion, especially of things that affect the way we live. Her tribute songs to Matthew Shepard and Mark Bingham crossed the borders between lesbian and gay, songs that told the stories of these two individuals simply with the expression of the folksingers of the 60’s,. The song “Giant” is an anthem for all of us to unite under one Rainbow umbrella and let others know we matter, we are loved and loving, and we’re not going away.

Bear in a Snare

After a six-month wait, it had finally arrived. Bear stood in his office, admiring his new oak desk, one of the perks awarded him after his recent promotion. The desk substitution had meant packing all his files and belongings into boxes, and while his computer was operational and his file folders were back in place, Bear knew he’d be back this weekend to tidy up the place; he was admittedly anal-retentive when it came to keeping his workspace orderly. He found his framed portrait of Cub in a box and regarded it fondly.
“Wow,” said a familiar light baritone voice, “I am impressed!”
For an insane instant, Bear thought the photo had gained the power of speech; it took a moment for him to realize the voice had come from behind him. He turned around and saw Cub in his blue delivery uniform, his slacks bloused over spit-shined Army boots, standing in the doorway, surveying the office.
