Hi all!
As all of you members know by now, in the "Your Account" section, there is a "Themes" icon link that lets you select the theme for this site...a new one has been uploaded called XP-Silver, which makes the site look as if it is Windows XP. It's very cool! Check it out.
I hope all of you are enjoying the features of this site to its fullest! I know I have! : )
We have been thinking...(uh oh!)...that for the Bear of the Month feature, perhaps we can collect the contestants and post some pics and have our "viewers" vote on who should be the next Bear of the Month? Just a suggestion.
Can't wait to see some stories, submissions, and events postings...!

When I was asked to write a position piece on the
differences and similarities between online and real-life clubs,
especially bear clubs, I had to really sit down and think about this one.
Because of my close ties to the Internet and technology communities, Ive
had the privilege of helping to create some of our online society, and Ive
always had an interest and memberships in real-world social organizations;
but Ive never really thought about how they relate to each other and
how one would go about deciding if one was better than the other.

Please congratulate him on a job well done!!
Todd is a
writer/journalist for INSIDE Bear as well as a dear friend. He is actively
involved with the Freedom
Bears of Philadelphia, as Vice President, a wonderful article about his club

Todd has been invited to participate in San Francisco's International
Bear Rendezvous (IBR) competition! However, he needs our help!
You see, competitions involve being sponsored, and we here at INSIDE Bear
strongly believe in helping our friends out. So, if you would like to see
