Ειδήσεις - INSIDE Bear a Pay Site?
News Well, it has come a time where decisions must be made and soon! Lack of donations are the main cause of what we are trying to decide here. Thank you to all of those who have donated to the site to keep it running - but it is not enough...

We can't always send an email or newsletter out asking for donations - it gets old...we don't want to nag - just feel if you really enjoy the site - and would like to see it running - completely free - then donations are a must.

Since donations have fallen by the wayside, we may be forced to have most of the features of this site under paying members only... such as the downloads, submitting news, forums, galleries, jokes, games, chat, and journal, and possible future features.

Sure it is a drastic step, and we put it to a vote on the survey - most said no, but a few said yes - though the results are soooo tiny, we have to base it on that.

Heck - even $30 a month from a total of 15 users (at $2 each) will help out a lot with server fees!!

If this goes through, we plan to charge $2 a month or $24/year total for each member of the site - sure you can join the site for free as always - but you will be limited to only viewing the news...and shoutblock....you may be able to read the forums as well - just not post... (possibly) - if you decide you want to see more - then we'll set up some sort of "contact us to join as a paying member" link and give you access right away!

$2 a month is still lower than any other site around! Smile

Hmmmm if donations start pouring in - well, then obviously we will remain free!
