Answer
Once I am logged in, can I make myself invisible?

Yes, here's how: Click on the Your Account link and then click on the Your Info button. Midway down the list of options select the yes option to Hide your online status.

I've got a juicy piece of news, how do I submit it?

Simple! Click on the Submit News link and type or copy/paste your story or article in the spaces provided. Pending administrator approval (mainly for corrections), your story/news piece will be displayed on the front page!

What is the Journal?

Journal, to put it simply, is an online diary. An actual journal to write your thoughts and/or daily activities whenever you want, just click on the Journal link to access this unique feature. You can also create private or public entries.

Can I add my weblink?

You sure can! Just click on the Web Links link and click on Add Link and follow the steps to add your very own web link!

How do I become a member of this website?

Registration is free on this site and one can register by clicking on the Create Account link. Once you register, your password will be emailed to you within the hour and you can log in and enjoy all the cool features that only membears can view! Remember to make sure that your email address is completely and correctly typed in for your password will bounce back and therefore render you unable to register.

This is such a cool site, can I recommend it to my friends?

Yes! In fact, we encourage you to do so! Simply click on the Recommend Us link and follow the steps to recommend us to a friend. Try it!

I've logged in, but when I try to access some features it says I need to register?

Once you are logged in to this site your userinfo is stored in a cookie for the duration of your visit until you log off. You must have cookies enabled in your browser in order to remain logged in to the website. Please check your browser preferences for enabling/disabling cookies, and if you need to have cookies disabled, you can add insidebear.com to your trusted sites list to allow it's cookie.

I've registered, but I never received my password?

This sometimes happens when either the email you have entered for us to send your password to was either misspelled, invalid or you may have left it blank. Not to worry, you may re-register. If you get an error in re-registering, please allow at least 48 hours for our server to reset the username you have chosen or try another username. Check those spellings! Also check to make sure your email account is not over quota, yahoo and hotmail accounts are prone to this.

What exactly is an Avatar?

An Avatar is just a little picture of either a smiley face, or a cartoon character, or just of anything that usually represents one's personality, it can even be a photo of yourself! In your profile you can select from over a wealth of images in our avatar database, there is a List feature which will list all the avatars you can choose from to represent yourself. They are shown when you post in the Forums and when someone views your profile. Why not pick one now? Or better yet, upload your very own!! Go to Your Account to see how!
